The Bulls

Last night Alfredo took Gabo to a Bulls game. Gabo was chosen to greet the Bulls as the came onto the court. He high-fived all of them! He was really excited! Alfredo took a couple of little videos with his cell phone, here they are!

David stayed with me and we had lots of fun. Nene was thrilled to have mami all to himself. He "played" Playstation, we made and ate mac & cheese, he took a long bath (he loved having all the bathtub to himself!), and we ate some natilla.

I went to Tigers today during Rhyme of the Week. The rhyme this week is "Humpty Dumpty". We tried memorizing the words together. It was a little sad when I had to leave...

The Morton Arboretum

We spent last Sunday at the Morton Arboretum, a park a few miles west of Oak Park. Even though we spent about five hours there, we probably saw a fifth of it. It was great. We caught the Fall colors, played in the hedge maze, and visited a house made of twigs and branches. We are going back in the Spring... with bicycles. Enjoy the pix and the video.

Hello All,
Updates, lets see... David is crawling like there´s no tomorrow, and he is also getting on his feet by himself holding to papi´s receiver (ouch!) He's doing really great. Gabo is also good. He was really excited to spend last weekend with his friend. The trip was a lot of fun, and even though I didn't get a whole lot of pix, Ceri did, so I'll just wait for her to post them before I share them too.

Well, I spend all day typing at work so that's it. Hope you like the pix : )

Finally, here is another video of Gabriel. This was just now before putting him to bed. Here you can see how he plays with his blocks, with his car, and soccer. He has so much fun!

The last of 2005

Here is Gabriel enjoying Abuela Camena's Christmas present. As you can see he is very happy on his horse, the only problem is that he is not strong enough yet to make it move on his own, so mom or dad have to do that for him...

Here he is playing with his first Lego set. He is still more into destroying than building though.

Classes are over!

Finally. Now we can spend more time together as a family. As Alfredo told you, we are pregnant again. And extremely happy about it!!! We estimate the delivery date to be around the end of July. My first appointment with the doctor is January 9th. I'll keep you posted on any new developments.

Well, there are many things to tell about Gabriel lately. First of all he can now say Mama and something that resembles Pa. He uses it mostly to get things, but we believe he means well... ;)

Another new development is that Gabriel has taken his first steps already. He can get a couple of steps before falling, but we have no movies or pictures of this, you'll just have to believe us.

He is also eating table foods now. Today he had vegetable risotto, and hash browns. He enjoyed both a lot.

At the park

Yesterday we drove from Lafayette to Austin to spend Thanksgiving with Meli and Can. Gabriel behaved OK during the trip, but he was obviously bored and did his share of complaining. Otherwise the trip was good. We didn't get into too much traffic.

Today we went to Zilker Park. Gabriel had a lot of fun.

He was happiest on the swings, but for some reason the pictures Alfredo took didn't come out at all... :(

He also enjoyed the slide and, as you can see, the sand!
