Here is Gabriel having some fun with play-dough, and David using a sweater that his great-grandmother knitted for his father. Isn't it cute? The big brother rocking his baby brother... Gabriel did that on his own, he is so sweet!

David's First Bath

Yesterday David had his first real bath. He cried a little, but I think he liked the water.

Hi everybody,

David decided he was ready to come out, so he was born on Jan 21 at 5:27 pm CST at the West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, IL. He weighted 4.6 lb, which is not bad for a 35 week preemie, an he is doing great. Barbara should be released from the hospital later today, and we are waiting for David to gain some weight and strength to bring him home. Here are David's first minutes outside his Mami's belly.

Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at Tia Mary Betty's house, and then we went back on Christmas day for Gabriel to open his presents. We had a great time. Gabriel was ecstatic opening so many presents.
